We
at Books for Zambia strive to arm the young people
and indeed the community of Luanshya with much needed
education and knowledge through supporting the only
Library in the town with books and other amenities
in a free and safe environment. The library is mostly
frequented by School children and aiding Luanshya's
youth with their education will make for a brighter
and better future.
Books for Zambia is
not a funded project and as such we ask that donors
ship the books themselves. Yes, we will take even
that one book. All we ask is that the books be mildly
used.
For 2009 our emphasis is on -
* Children's books
* Text books in Engineering, Science and Math at all
levels
* All other reading material, including novels are
also appreciated
* Computers
